File spec guide
To keep the cost of your print as low as possible, I recommend you get the file ready to print. Here’s the spec files need to be:
Height and width : set to the size you want the print to be (in mm or cm).
Resolution: 300dpi or more.
File type: Ideally a tiff but I can accept jpgs.
Colour mode: RGB.
If you want a border please make sure it’s already included.
So long as your file has been created using a high-resolution camera, scanner or image editor, this should generate a file that is at least 20MB - 125MB+ depending on the dimensions of your file. If your file is low-resolution to begin with then there isn’t much that can be done to improve the quality, in that case it’s best to re-scan or capture it at a higher resolution to get the best print result.
Since most files will be too large to email, you will need to send the file to me via a transfer service such as WeTransfer.com (which is free), or a cloud storage link like Googledrive, Dropbox or Onedrive.
If you need assistance with preparing your file to these specifications, check out this file prep pricelist here, and I’ll do it for you.
